Information

When you have all the colours of the rainbow to choose from why be limited by existing fabric colour? With Dylon pre-dye you don't have to. It lightens fabric to a neutral shade creating a "blank canvas" that you can dye any colour. Use Dylon pre-dye to change one strong colour to another (eg brown to tulip red) or dye fabric to a lighter shade 9 e.g. brown to pebble beige).

With 24 colours of hand wash or machine wash dye to choose from you won't be short on choice.

Fabric colour stripper (pre-dye) removes colour from fabric so that it can be dyed a lighter colour. This pack is suitable for using in a washing machine. It removes colour from fabric returning it to a neutral shade. The more colour that is removed, the closer you will get to the colour on the pack of dye when dyeing. Chlorine bleach-free formula. Will treat all natural fabrics and nylon. Not recommended for polyester, acrylic, acetate or fabrics with special finishes. Some colours such as bright greens and blues, royal blues, turquoises and indigo (denim) may not be suitable for treatment. One pack is sufficient to remove colour from up to 2.5kg / 5lbs of dry weight fabric. Do not treat more than 2.5kg / 5lbs. Always use the full contents of the pack. Note: not suitable for wool or silk, polyester, acetate acrylics or fabrics with special finishes. This has to be used in a wash at 85-90 degrees.

Use this item on darker clothes to lighten them before dyeing to get the very best results.
