Product description

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a German World War II fighter aircraft that was, along with the Focke-Wulf Fw 190, the backbone of the Luftwaffe’s fighter force. The Bf 109 first saw operational service in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War and was still in service at the dawn of the jet age at the end of World War II in 1945. It was one of the most advanced fighters when it first appeared, with all-metal monocoque construction, a closed canopy, and retractable landing gear. It was powered by a liquid-cooled, inverted-V12 aero engine. It was called the Me 109 by Allied aircrew and some German aces, even though this was not the official German designation.

Deliveries & returns

We aim to get your order to you as fast as possible! Once you have paid for your order you will receive a confirmation email showing the order’s status.

If you have paid via cheque or Paypal eCheque (similar to traditional paper cheques) your order will show as Queued until your cheque has cleared. If you paid using a Paypal instant payment or via our card processing gateway and your card payment was authorised then your order will show as Processed. Orders placed before 2pm, Monday to Friday are shipped on the same day. Orders placed over a weekend will be shipped the next working day.

  • Standard Shipping method normally takes 3-4 working days to a UK address.
  • We do not currently offer a weekend delivery service. Orders placed before the 2pm cut-off time on a Friday will be delivered the next working day.
  • Next Day Courier method is a next working day service that is available to orders placed before 2pm on a working day. Deliveries can be up to 7pm for residential addresses and 5pm to business addresses.
